BroadbandChoices.co.uk The Science of Scare

Our 2020 “Science of Scare” campaign for broadbandchoices.co.uk was one of the biggest link building campaigns of the year, becoming a viral sensation.

Launched in October 2020, the campaign, which took less than five weeks to produce, fitted test audiences with heart rate monitors to find out the scariest movie ever made, according to science.

The result? Through a methodical pitching strategy, the campaign became a ‘monster’ hit, with just a simple inofgraphic as an asset. In addition to picking up over 2,000 links across a variety of top tier media and hard to reach outlets, the campaign took hold across social media with celebrities getting involved in the discussion, leading to a range of international broadcast media pick up and hundreds of thousands of website visits for the client.
